ready?The Assistant Director of Operations - Rooms, is responsible
for overseeing and directing Front Office, Valet, Guest Services,
Concierge, Housekeeping, the Marina, as well as assisting with
oversight of the Food & Beverage Division.Duties include:
- Responsible for short and long term planning and the management
of the Rooms/Food and Beverage operations in the front and back of
the house.
- Develop and recommend the budget, marketing plans and
objectives and manages within those approved plans.
- Implement and maintain F&B sales/marketing programs.
- Direct and oversee development of employees.
- Hire, train, empower, coach and counsel, performance and salary
reviews.
- Cover and support in Front Office and Housekeeping Operations
as needed.
- Perform daily room inspections to ensure quality and standards
are met.
- Send pre/post arrival guest communications.
- Drive Hotel Metrics and Financial targets.
- Direct the implementation of the payroll, reports, forecasts,
inventory and budget for food and beverage/rooms operations.
- Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high
level of customer satisfaction and quality.
- Implement procedures to increase guest and associate
satisfaction.
- Exercise quality control for both Rooms and food and
beverage.
- Maintain Hyatt standards of service and ensure their
implementation.
- Perform daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with
Department of Health regulations and Hyatt Corporate
standards.
- Maintain communications with Corporate Staff.
- Coach and counsel employees to reflect Hyatt service standards
and procedures.The salary range for this position is $91,200.00 -
$136,800.00. This is the pay range Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa &
Marina reasonably expects to pay. Individual salaries will be based

Requirements:
- Prior hotel front office experience required.
- Prior leadership experience.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience working in a fast-paced
environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
